i remember in DLC 1 i had a team that was full of broken threats, but it was genuinely 6-0ed by manaphy webs so badly that i had to change my valiant set to speed booster taunt destiny bond to prevent either the web or the manaphy setup to avoid losing on the spot. i haven't played OU in a while so i was surprised to learn that such a strong setup sweeper had fallen all the way to RU

The humble old gens player and gen 9 spectator in me thought Manaphy with Tera was gonna be the easiest week 1 or 2 ban, I underestimated the effect of it being dropped with Ogerpon at the same time, general fast paced meta and Encore access to an extent but it's still crazy to think about, to fall so far too.. Truly a bonafide gen 9 moment
